Dr Kirsten Connan, Obstetrician Gynaecologist Laparoscopic Surgeon MBBS (Hons), FRANZCOG
Dr Kirsten Connan graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Sydney in 2001. With a passion for obstetrics and gynaecology,
she completed specialist training and graduated with her fellowship from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2010.
During this time she also undertook specialist Fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine (high risk obstetrics), Laparoscopic Surgery and Ultrasound at the Royal Women's Hospital.
In addition to her commitment to the O&G Consulting Group Kirsten holds a consultant position in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Women's Hospital and a specialist
ultrasound position at East Melbourne Ultrasound (EMU). Kirsten is an Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) instructor, teaching in Australia and overseas, in addition to
her role in teaching junior doctors and medical students at the Royal Women's Hospital.
Kirsten's interests in obstetrics & gynaecology and medical teaching have seen her teaching in India, Tonga, Fiji and Mongolia.
Kirsten juggles work with her passion for running and spending time with her husband and two young daughters.
